Ohio born, Nashville formed, and all good things come from God. Matthew and Sarah Graham are from Grove City, Ohio and have called Nashville home for 9 years. They became an Americana acoustic duo in 2012, however they have been performing together since 2002, and much longer as individuals. Music has always been part of their lives. Sarah’s grandmother, Rosalie Paige, was a gospel singer who performed on the Grand Ole Opry and was a huge influence for Sarah to begin singing at the age of five years old. Matthew’s father, James Graham, plays guitar has performed in bands as well as a solo artist, and played for Matthew when he was a child. This is where he received his start picking up the guitar at the age of thirteen. In 2002, Matthew and Sarah played in a country band that opened for Charlie Daniels Band in their hometown and when they made the move to Nashville in 2011, they wanted to continue their musical career as a duo. They enjoy writing music and intertwining vocal harmonies to create a new sound. Matthew has written numerous songs, and arranged the music to their song “I Don’t Remember You” for Alzheimer’s Awareness. Sarah wrote a song about her grandparents and the love they had for each other in a song called, “Rosalie”. Performing at several places around the country, including fairs and festivals, the reaction and reviews from the audience have been favorable. Matthew and Sarah have two sons, Solomon and Eli, and while music will always be part of their lives, Jesus is the glue that holds them together. They are currently working on an album and have hopeful release date next year.
I Don't Remember You is a beautiful bittersweet song about the Alzheimers.
